Flawless.

Say what you want, but Lara is an absolute goddess. This is the infamous November 08 i-D editorial shot by photographer Alasdair McLellan and starring Lara herself and male model Randy Johnston. I just want to underline the fact that Randy actually died on the 11th for reasons that remain unknown so this could be kind of a tribute presenting his last shoot which is admittably quite admirable. I read somewhere that it may have been an overdose but I'm not positive so I don't want anyone to think that..RIP Randy..

Note: Isn't the picture of her naked so tastefully done? the whole shoot is just.. flawless! And some people have been saying that she is too thin; however, I think she is just right and her proportions are great and i'm not going to say "yes, but have you seen the other models how thinner they look" because that's not the point here ..it's not that since there are thinner models, she is excused, it's just that she is thin but it's a nice thin, it's not a skinny-sick thin, she is healthy.

.Daisy and Diesel.

Daisy Lowe is helping Diesel celebrate their birthday with a new ad campaign reminiscent of Kate Moss's (ck ad). I like it, i think it looks very bold and I always thought she had a great body so this image is naturally very flattering .By the way her hair is dreamy! I am wanting a fringe like that so much. I am probably going to get it one of these days but my hair is so impossible it won't grow an inch! And for this look to work i think you have to have a) long hair (not necessarily but it looks good when you do..) b)straight hair and c) it only suits some head shapes ; i hope it suits mine..

I just called to say,

I'm sorry!

I truly am. I have no Internet. I am currently using my brother's laptop, so yeah.. i have no pictures for you or anything.. Oh, well! these things happen. thank you for saying all those wonderful {flattering} things about my poem. I am going to write more..

By the way, is there anyone who reads the magazine "Cicada" ? and can anyone recommend a magazine with photography that I can subscribe to?

anyway, I hope I can repair my internet soon, because I have millions of ideas for my next post. Till then i might (hopefully) write another quick post with a poem..

3 Day Weekends..

(all photos taken by me)

These are the weekends where your parents drag you all the way to the middle of nowhere.

These are the weekends where you wave goodbye to your friends and tell them to wish you luck.

These are the weekends where the television in the house you' re staying in happens to have only two channels. Two terribly fuzzy channels.

These are the weekends where you are thankful for remembering to take your camera.

These are the weekends where you walk by the beach and think about your future while gazing at the sea's infinity.

These are the weekends where you read Jane Austen while lying on the grass, in the shade of a cherry tree.

These are the weekends where you and your bicycle discover places untraceable to the map of your brain.

These are the weekends where it's just you; and nature.

...you don't mind.

Ps. In 2nd picture wearing the "trip clothes" as in comfortable clothes to be worn in the car.
Cheap Monday jeans, AA tank, thrifted cardi. ( and it is the reflection of myself in the window.)
Ps2. Feedback for the poem please.

Not the Chips; Ruffles.

Yes, i am talking about ruffles; just not the chips..

I love them. I have even learnt to sew so I can sew them on practically everything. There have been lots of DIY projects, lot's of messy business I tell you.

and I only recently discovered I own this really pretty cream ruffled blouse.

These are my shoes. I am quite impressed with the result of my DIY project.

MAN

I hate to admit it, but I haven't been too impressed ( except for footwear) by the f/w shows.. I don't know why, but I have not. I was quite disappointed actually. Til now I haven't seen one amazing-spectacular-throw your hat in the air- show for womanswear. So, I was like ," what's happening with the menswear? Is it the same situation?"The answer is no, it's not ! The hugely successful partnership between Fashion East founder Lulu Kennedy and Topman was in fact amazing- spectacular- throw your hat in the air ! Guess who is going to be sneaking in Topman pretending to be buying a present for the boyf.. hehehe..*(evil laugh)..The sad news is that MAN designer James Long has had his autumn/winter 2008-9 collection stolen. Some hours after the runway show, the thieves stole the whole collection! Imagine how he is feeling right now, especially seeing as it was a huge success and he must have been very stressed out being a young designer and all...poor thing.

Look at the colours on the cardigan and the blouse that looks like a baggy boustier: cool or what?

oh, the boots ! i love them.. do you think they will have them in the size of my small foot? And I love the gingham trousers and the black coat. (The black coat is totally Nate or Chuck from Gossip girl).

The right outfit is v.cool.

the weirdness i am looking for in the womanswear.
